Tips

First time bringing in a water sample? Here are a few tips to help us give you the most accurate results and recommendations:

Know Your Pool Volume

If you don’t know the exact gallon size, bring the length, width, and average depth (L, W, D), and we can help calculate it. We’ll also need to know how you currently sanitize your pool (chlorine, salt system, etc.).

If your pool uses a salt system, please bring the brand/model of your salt cell or let us know the required PPM (parts per million) for chlorine generation.

Avoid using bottles that once held acidic drinks like soda or juice—residue can throw off your results. A clean plastic or glass container with a tight lid works best.

Not sure what you’re looking at? Snap some photos! Water clarity, equipment labels, chemical containers—anything you think might help us understand your setup can be incredibly helpful.

Your sample is generally accurate for 12–24 hours, but avoid leaving it in a hot car or direct sun for too long. Warm water can affect test accuracy.

Following these tips helps us provide the most precise analysis and treatment plan for your pool. We’re here to make water care easy—just ask if you have questions!
